Well, here's the update of mine.

10 months in 2010, without any update in this blog.
Fell a bit hard to recall what happen in the past few months.. XD

Feb'10

There were 2 celebrations in this month, Chinese New Year and also Valentine's Day !!

As usual, first few days of CNY I'm not in my hometown (KT) or either my current place (Penang).

I back to Klang to celebrate this festive season with my family and relatives.

This year Valentine's Day = 1st day of CNY (too bad~~ :P) , so nothing to update about Valentine's Day. Hahaha~~

Mar'10 - July'10

Can't recall any special occasion during this months, except on Apr'10 (her's birthday... ^3^).

Just normal life routine, working, working, working, working~~

Aug'10

Like this month the most !!!

I got my own DSLR on 7th-Aug !!! A Nikon D5000 is my new baby toy~~ V^.^V

*wallet bleeding non-stop, =.=*

Although it cost me a lot, but its worth !! Finally I have something to do else during weekend, holiday or any special event.. :)

Sep'10

Time's up !! On the day before we celebrate Hari Raya, that was my last day in previous company. Appreciate a lot for the guidance, assistance and co-operation given by my colleagues, bosses and counter-parts. This will be my valuable asset and memory in my life.

Take good care all !!

In the same month, I have reported to my new company after few days of Raya holiday. Started the life with coding again which I have left behind for more than 1 year.
Met a new group of friendly and nice colleagues & bosses here. Intensive training started and have to catch up fast as my colleagues all are seems so pro (indeed, they are really PRO !!). *self-confidence lost, :(*
Anyhow, I love the environment here !!

Job official training ended with a small and warm graduation ceremony.

Even though official training ended, but we still have to learn by ourselves. In the field of consulting, learning never end !!

Abandoned my D5000 for the 1st month due to tight training schedule~~ *sorry my D5000!*

Nov'10

First time drive to Seberang Prai during Deepavali holiday, not manage to find any special place because i don't know the road. Just saje drive to explore that area and spend my time with my baby toy, hehe~~

It's has been almost 10 months this blog left behind in the world of web (or Spider Web ?) XD

Well, this blog gonna transform to a photoblog, still thinking of whether should I open a new 'photoblog' or using back this blog but delete all the previous posts ? Hmm... *thinking deeply*

Most probably I will remain using this blog and remain the previous posts as well.. hehe~~ (due to laziness)

No matter what, hopefully I'm still able to update the blog 'consistently', probably twice per month ?

再度挑战：PBIM'09 Half Marathon

好快，又一年了，一年一度国际型的Penang Bridge International Marathon即将开跑。
还记得去年的十一月，第一次参加了这个马拉松，参加的也是半马（25km），跑了3个小时半，跑到脚软软，需要接近一个星期才完全恢复。当时说过，不会再跑那么长的路途了，真是折磨自己！！

可是人就是这样犯贱，我就是这样爱折磨自己，今年也去报了跑半马（21km）。
今年的半马比较短了，限时3个小时，在怀疑自己有没有能力在3个小时内跑完。
之前只是想要跑fun run（10km），但是又觉得10km解不到跑大桥的瘾，就去报了跑半马。

这次跑半马，目标锁定于3个小时内，把finishing medal拿回家！！
跑马拉松，虽然不是我的最爱，但是是目前可以让我在放工后有其他东西可以做，也可以锻炼自己的身体+毅力。
地狱式练习已经开始了，希望可以应付得来，不会在比赛当天跑到一半就pancit，我可不想是坐巴士回到终点的参赛者！！

无题之Rojak篇

这里所谓的Rojak篇，并不是吃的Rojak，而是想要分享最近几个令我深思的话题。
来~吃Rojak咯~~！！
p/s：看不明白的就对不起啦~~！！

第一道：败-家-子

败家子，我还以为只是电视剧里才会出现的人物，可是我在现实生活中，真的是遇见了这样的一个人。
钱难赚吗？这我有所保留。。
钱容易花吗？不用问，就是那么得容易花，你给我多少钱，我都可以花完。。
身份为家里大少爷，中五毕业就在家摇脚了，年纪轻轻，不多不少，今年就是二十刚刚好。血气方刚的青少年，一部近百千（可能超过）的进口汽车随手可得，看到我眼大！！不是他爸妈的车，就是他的车。可能对他来说，钱是多奢的然后又没地方花，就拿来烧咯！（抽烟啦~~）。原因只有一个，减压！！哈？减压？在家摇脚都会有压力？=.=|||
最近香烟起价，就破口大开骂政府，说人家每年交所得税给政府，政府还要起烟价？我听到了，也很奇怪，他都没交所得税，管他屁事啊？还说到政府只会挖洞（福建 O Kang），关于这点我有所保留。讲到香烟，政府啊政府，你看！！你起烟价，被人家骂；起一次，被骂一次。你不会直接禁止售烟？简单利落！！在那些香烟包装上贴上恶心照片，有用吗？还不是浪费钱，浪费资源印出那些照片。
对不起那些烟友，因为我不知烟瘾的感觉，但是我觉得你们呼出来的二手烟很臭！很恶心！
话说回来，那位败家子身在福中不知福，妈妈可以如女佣那般的使唤，看了我也很心疼。希望他早日能从他“美满”的梦中，回到现实的残酷生活吧！！

第二道：蕹菜

蕹菜鱿鱼，这可是槟城的美食之一叻！！
但是这里说为的蕹菜，可是现日响当当，在十全十美的日子里闪亮的两颗巨星！！
有留意政治课题的朋友都应该知道是谁吧？
特大投票成绩刚出炉，两败俱伤。虽然大头还没正式宣布日后方向，但是看来都凶多吉少了吧！！声称代表大马华人的党派，由于时代改变，现日的宣传方式也应该改变，就由党内纠纷开始吧！！成功了~~！！恭喜恭喜！！
我这个小民，中央事情报章上看了就算，比较留意的当然是家乡的唯一代表华人的党派趋势。原来成为会员有很多好处，尤其是那些生意人。交流圈子大了，自然而然生意也好了，最好是举办多一点什么什么活动，要什么东西都跟他拿，“方便”又“便宜”！！
稍微记得几年前的瓜登区党选（我忘了是不是党选，就只是记得要投选妇女组主席）。我妈一向来都没有参与他们的活动，但是由于某人的拉拢，就插了一脚当党员，也就能去投票了。在还未去投票的时候，一直吩咐我妈要投XXX，千万别投YYY，因为她不是同一geng的（讲不好听，都是以利益为主）。这样也能？！投选结果如何我忘了，嘻嘻~~！！
还有还有，成为党员，而且要活跃于党内活动，有什么事就有人会帮你出头！！你的家事，我来帮你出头！！搞大件事上报纸！！（由于瓜登区不是很大+华人少=什么冬瓜豆腐都传得很快）。

KT Home-Coming

Phew.. since working until now, I never have a chance to go back my lovely hometown, KT !! Until last week where Raya holiday falls on. 4 days !! 4 days is the longest holiday I had since working.

Well, actually my initial plan was just to stay at Penang because bus ticket back to my hometown already sold out *sob sob*, but my friend told me that there was still have some tickets (I guessed is extra bus, due to high demand). I direct "flew" to bus station and bought ticket after my working hour (that time was 2 days before I went back KT). After bought ticket, another concern came in my mind, that is the 8-9 hours 'SUFFER-ing' journey !! Aiseh, feels so 'sien' when think of that, somemore is extra bus (usually extra bus is 4 seats, exactly the same with bus travel internal).

Came to Friday night, with no high expectation on my bus seat (forgot to tell, my seat number is N/A, which means FREE SEAT !!). Dui~~, memang 'sien'~~. Anyway, after I got my bus number, I was surprised to see the bus I took was NEW double decker bus !! 3 seats one somemore. WooHoo~~ I hurry up went inside the bus and chose single seat. What a wonderful 8-9 hours journey back to KT.

This time went back KT is because of Raya holiday, so for sure many shops in KT will close. Where can I to buy Keropok Lekor ? Nasi Dagang ? Nasi Minyak ? and those foods that I miss so much, which only available in KT (*speak silently : "Keropok in Penang very keras one, the flour > fish, cannot fight with KT punya keropok langsung~~!!"*). Anyway, this "back-to-hometown" journey doesn't dissapointed me much as I also can taste those foods. I tell you how~~ *hiek hiek*

DAY 1 - Saturday (1 day before Raya)

Mission failed. Can't get any of the foods I want to eat. No car cannot go out.
Just wait until night for 'yamcha' session, at Uncle Chua, again~~
Actually want to go newly open 'First Station', but its too crowded. Blow water there for few hours then went back to sleep. 1 day gone~~ *sob sob*

DAY 2 - Sunday (Raya 1st day)

Selamat Hari Raya~~ thanks to my mum, because of her, I'm able to eat Nasi Dagang and Keropok today, by went to MB's open house. When I arrived there, Oh Gosh~~ everyone like hungry ghost, rush inside to get the food and find the place to sit. The place was so big, with a lot of foods and LARGE AMOUNT of 'Violence Dinosaur' = POLISTERINE. Although can eat Nasi Dagang and Keropok, but not really tasty, at least its cure my sickness, haha~~.

My friend came down from Kemaman this day to find me and I was able to go KT's Airport where I didn't go there for few years already. The airport looks great after renovation.

At night, another 'yamcha' session at Secret Recipi (the only shop open until quite late, planned to go KFC, but there was A LOT of people, I really mean A LOT !!). 2 days gone~~

DAY 3 - Monday (Raya 2nd day)

Nothing much to do, accompany mum to visit her Malay's friend and able to eat Nasi Minyak, Nasi Kuning today, mum 'da pao' from her Malay's friend house. Not forgotten also, homemade 'Mi Hun Kuey' (like 'ban mian' but is in pieces type).

DAY 4 - Tuesday (Last day in KT)

Time to say goodby to lovely KT~~
Mum bought chinese made keropok, which we called 'Hu Shak' in Hokkien. The keropok is made from meat of Ikan Parang and steamed, with its Belacan, WOW !! Both thumb up !!

Anyway, good time passed fast. Time to back Penang as I have to resume working on Wednesday. Wish to have a good rest at bus but the fact disappointed me !! I have to sit EXTRA BUS !! with 4 seats !! Waakao~~!! The ticket seller never told it was extra bus !! Somemore the ticket is more expensive (although charge extra RM1, hehe~~). Really suffer sitting this kind of bus, the seat is very small, even smaller than GSC Gurney's seat. A tiring and torturing journey back to Penang.

4 days.. is really 'long~~' holiday.. wish to have longer holiday in future. Wish Fireflyz will resume their direct flight back to KT a.s.a.p, so that I have another alternative back to KT other than BUS !! Please~~

纯粹写写

好久没上来update部落格了。
并不是不要上来写，而是没有东西好写/分享。
踏入社会工作已经两个月了，工作的日子占了大部分，留下来给自己的时间只是那么的几天。

看过一封电邮，这写着我蛮认同的东西：

人生有三个很犯贱的阶段：
1。读书的时候，有力气，有时间但是没有金钱；
2。做工的时候，有金钱，有力气但是没有时间；
3。退休的时候，有时间，有金钱但是没有力气。

说得很对，但相信这些阶段是每个人一定会经过的。
人生过得灿不灿烂，由你来画。人生的每一天，就只有那一天，没有多了，白过就白过了，翻不回去了。
愿大家生活灿烂每一天。

终于，期待已久的毕业典礼到了，就在这个星期，而我的session是刚过的星期五下午。

毕业典礼，只是一个正式的仪式。对我来说，这一天，就是爸妈了心愿的日子，终于看到他们养了二十几年的儿子带上四方帽，站在台上接毕业证书。就以四个字来形容：光宗耀祖。虽然说念大学的人越来越多，但是看着自己的儿子考完STPM后成功挤进本地大学，而且也顺利毕业，我想爸妈也为我松了一口气。

另一方面，毕业典礼也是朋友一起集会的最后机会。所以，毕业典礼后，就会看到很大班的毕业生“疯狂式”的拍照，为自己最有“毕业生”样的时候拍照，难免的我也是会这样。当然，也不能为了拍照而抛下父母亲，所以我第一时间就跟家人拍了照，交待了才四处跑，也以最快的速度回到他们的身边。想要看我的毕业照的话，请到facebook看看咯~~！！

毕业了，工也找到了，总算是正式踏出社会了。
领了第一个月的薪水，就很想要亲手交给父母亲，让他们真真觉得他们的儿子已经长大了。
今天，就在开口把手头上的钱交到父母亲的手中那时刻，我眼泪已经在眼眶内打滚，流泪了。终于有机会把自己赚回来的钱交给父母亲，而不是伸手跟他们要钱了。好久都没流泪了，也没想过自己会在这样的场面下流泪。

正正经经，无虚无假的。。。再见了~~象牙塔！！

Pressure, The Invisible Assasin

Life never been easy. Working life really different from study life, new environment, new job functions, new responsibilities.

This week is my working life's third week. Job training continuous for these 3 weeks and the official training almost done. So, its time for me to perform my own job's duties next week onwards. Although job training is almost done, but I'm still doubt of myself whether I can handle it or not. All the things seems still new and strange for me, still feel lost although I have good trainers and a checklist for myself. Suddenly lost my self-confidence, I don't know why.

What will be my output next week is still a BIG question mark. A short meeting with my supervisor today indirectly put some weight on my shoulder. She put some expectation on us (new comers) and I'm the only fresh graduate among them. This make me feels more pressure. Hopefully I won't disappoint her and my trainers as well.

Good luck to myself and may everything go smoothly next week.

打工仔的第一日

毕业了，不想继续读了，决定到社会大学报到，而今天就是报道日。
第一天，是人家讲的“蜜月”日，只是有简单的briefing、看看四周及了解工作岗位。
但是在这一天，也有两个其他公司打电话给我，其中一间我没接，也不知道是哪间。
至于另外一间呢，是我上星期去面试的，也是我想要加入的IT Consultancy Firm。听她的语气，相信我已经成功被录取了，但是很可惜的，我已经被其他公司录取了。
之前想要加入IT这一行业，但是我却拒绝了眼前的机会，希望我不会做错的选择。

疯狂Transformer旋风！！

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen 刚刚在全马上映，带来了一阵疯狂的旋风。就趁这个非常时期，Queensbay Mall举办了Transformer展览，展览有很多Transformer的模型，从第一时代（卡通样）到现代（逼真样），真的看到眼睁睁。Transformer曾是我童年时期的卡通片之一，所以看到现代版的Transformer，真的要向那些角色发明者鞠躬！！

去Queensbay Mall走一趟，看看这个展览。原本也想看看多位的“Megan Fox”（有一项活动，是模仿Megan Fox的），但是可能时间不对，没得看到“Megan Fox”。走着的时候，看到有很多人集聚在一个角落，原来是卖Transformer的周边产品。童心未尽的我，也手痒痒买下了Transformer的闪卡，就是这个了。

小学，由家人决定，最不烦；

中学，中五毕业，烦自己的下一段路，升学？做工？；

升学的，什么大学？什么科系？什么出路？；

做工的，什么工？哪里做？工钱多少？；

大学，大学毕业，也烦下一段路，继续升学？还是出外做工？；

继续升学的，什么大学？什么科系？什么mode？；

打算做工的，什么工？哪里做？工钱多少？待遇如何？；

这是我活23年来面对最大的择决，

接下来，会是要作出什么决定呢？

Its has been around 2 weeks I didn't update this blog, previous week was because busy and this week is because lazy.. Haha~~

Last week was my final week for the IT certification programme, and the good news is I had passed the examination and I'm certified !! WooHoo~~ Waiting the certificate delivered to my hometown by Microsoft. A big 'Phew~~~' right after the examination, precisely is should be right after I clicked 'End' for the examination because the result is shown immediately as this examination is an online examination. Congratulation to my '3 weeks' classmates also who had passed the examination. After the examination, I'm officially a job hunter (which is a better term to represent jobless) !! Wakaka~~

This week, a boring week. Never felt this boring before. Wait, wait and wait... waiting for a call, a call from an unknown number, to ask for an interview session. Finally I felt the boring-ness of being jobless, keke~~

**Suddenly feel want to go back home, eat chinese dumpling('ba-zhang'), sleep on my comfortable bed, meet my beloved family members.**

Magic Cube

Yesterday I went to Night Market at Jelutong to have a walk and I found this interesting puzzle, named 'Magic Cube'. It is a 'cube' that formed by several 'small triangles' which linked together and you can use your imagination to puzzle it into any form that you want.

Once I bought this cube back, I had spent some time on it to form it into several shapes. This is the shape that used my longest time so far and the shape that I satisfied the most. A shape of turtle !! Haha~~!! The small photos at lower part are the views from top, front and back.

2 in 1 time

Well, just simply updating myself here. Currently following an IT certification program, namely Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) : SQL Server 2008 for around 1 month period.

Class goes smooth so far, the class begin at 9am until 5pm, with 1 hour lunch break. Its feel like working hours, but my 'duty' is study and learn. So, this is what I have to face everyday.

This looks normal right ? If bored than surf internet, have a free chat. But is it possible to do both thing at the same time ? I mean while working on Microsoft SQL Server in full screen mode and surf other websites at the same time SIMULTANEOUSLY. The answer is YES !!

Farewell @ Tao Autocity

道(Tao)这个名字，我从大学第一年就听过这大名了，是出名吃自由餐的地方，而且是中西日餐的自由餐。介于价钱不凡（晚餐一个人要RM50++），再加上地方蛮远，所以一直拖到昨天(4/5/09），终于都让我圆梦了，到车城Juru Autocity去吃道！！

基于还是失业者的其中一位，所以我们尽量拿最经济的配套，就是在下午6点半前到，有10%折扣！！还有之前也听人说吃道的自由餐有限时，每桌两个小时，所以我们一班八个人下午5点半才开车（其实打算是5点的，怕大桥塞车，然后出现了一些小问题导致时间耽误），真的怕塞在大桥然后迟到。还好天怜惜我们这班人，大桥还不算很塞，大概6点10分就到了车城，就棒棒声到《道》餐厅去。

到了那里，也听到一个好消息，就是其实若我们不要在VIP房里吃的话，其实是没有限时的。那还等什么，当然选择坐外面咯，呵呵~~！！太好了！！任吃任喝，而且还打破我吃自由餐的纪录，就是我们从下午6点半开始吃，吃到前后左右的人都走了，我们都还在吃，吃到10点半！！

想起最后一年的最后时段才吃（应该是毕业了才吃），真的有点可惜。若下次去吃的话，应该是跟不同班的人去吃了。我们还在道的纸巾上留言，我留了这一句：“道！！志同道合！！吃饱、笑饱、回忆饱饱！！”

考完试，在等待大家各飞东西前，就忙着聚在一起，我来终结从我呈现完毕业论文（Viva）后的日子的每一天。

27/4/09（星期一）：Viva，也是我学术上的最后一个presentation。

29/4/09（星期三）：早上去北海，帮忙我的前室友搬东西去火车站，出动了两辆车，都是以前勤力宿舍的舍友。第一次坐ferry过岸，第一次在对岸吃早餐。然后开始忙着搬家，搬东搬西，原本想呆多一晚，可是看见屋友开始搬走了，我也没心情继续呆多一晚，也跟着搬出去了。

30/4/09（星期四）：理大考试周的最后一天！！也是我们这班舍友的photo session，到理大的四处各地拍照留念，真的不舍得。。。我们的晚餐也很“巴比”（广东话：Ba Bai），因为我们包完整间Domino Pizza的店面，就只是为了我们的聚餐，哈哈！！

1/5/09（星期五）：劳动节，但是我们的活动照跑！！跑到哪里？就是乱跑槟城！！Round Penang Trip，当然也还是我们这些舍友一起出动。早上8点出门，直到下午5点（大家都已经累了，本来是打算直接到晚上的）。行程如下：

8.00am ：早餐，在Sg.Nibong附近的一间茶食解决。
9.00am ：往坐落于Batu Maung的War Museum出发，入门费RM15（但是我们是显示出我们的学生证，所以只是RM13）。是一些战争后留下来的遗物，隧道等等。
11.30am ：到距离War Museum不远的Aquarium去（临时才要去，不是因为要参观，而是有人要解决三急，呵呵！！）。我们只是在外逗留，没有进去，因为需要入门票，而且觉得不是很值得进去看。
12.00pm : 进入乔治市区，先到Clock Tower和Fort Cornwallis去看看。其实也没有什么东西好看的，哈哈~~！！天气又热，大家开始有点顶不顺了。。。
1.45pm : 午餐时间到！！到Penang Road出名Chendol的店吃。真的好多人！！吃东西也留着汗，真是折磨自己，嘻嘻！！
2.30pm : 到最后一个地点，植物园。在那里大家都已经很累了，可能是在大太阳下走来走去，也被晒到黑了。大家只是坐下来看“猴子戏”，看人家喂猴子吃，看猴子爬来爬去，还看见猴子做些儿童不宜的动作，ZzzZzz。过后大家决定回家冲凉休息，晚餐再见。
6.30pm ：晚餐到Batu Feringgi的一间Bistro吃。环境还不错，靠海的。只是我们用了接近一个小时半才到，因为往把Batu Feringgi的路塞车。吃完回家的路途更惨，原本从Batu Feringgi下去Gurney的路只需大约20-30分钟，可以我们用了1个小时才到。塞啊塞，塞了整1个小时半才回到家，累垮了！！

四月的最后一个礼拜，就这样过了。要走的，都走七七八八了。留下的只是大家的脚印，三年的时间，算长吗？再会了，朋友！！毕业典礼见！！

Finally, the time has come. Today is 30/4/2009, last day of April, which mean it is end of the contract between us and house owner of Sri Saujana 10-4-4. Too sad to say, we have to move out from our "home" in Penang.

7 housemates together in this small house, really feel sad when all starting to pack and moving out. 2 years as housemates, outing together, chat together, photo session-ing together, it is part of my wonderful time during my university life. The feeling was become worst when some were moved out and waved goodbye with each other.

Nothing to say much, really glad to be your housemate, dear my ex-housemates~~
Hope can still keep in touch, good luck in your future undertaking.

一个礼拜前已经考完我3年学士的最后一张试卷，怎么兴奋的感觉都没有？
原来，我毕业了，只差那一个正式的仪式--毕业典礼，再也没有为考试而读书的日子；

已经回家一个礼拜，现在已经回到槟城了，怎么念家的感觉比较厚了？
原来，我毕业了，再也没有机会“定时”可以回家了（本人应该不会继续读了）；

回到槟城，无所事事，等待“约会”，等待消磨时间，等待搬家，怎么开始感觉到不舍的感觉了？
原来，我毕业了，即将离开现在的“家”，距离还有一个礼拜的限期；

聚了又散，是无可避免的；
站在生命中的另一个转折点，哪条路是属于我的？

Pain-t-ball Shoot-ed

Last 2 weeks ago before study week started, I had participated in an event, a new competition introduced to USM students and probably is the first time organized inside USM campus, that is Paintball Competition !!

This competition was organized by MPP Desasiswa Aman Damai in their Karnival Aman Damai. The participation fee is RM350 per team and maximum number of players per team is 5 people. I wanted try to play paintball for a long time ago and there is a chance for me, how could I miss up this chance ? So me and my teammates registered under the name of "Schnitzer 1044" in this competition. Any meaning behind this name ? I don't really know about "Schnitzer", but "1044" representing boys from Sri Saujan 10-4-4, which all male housemates of 10-4-4 was in this team, including me !!

Actually we thought many USM students will registered in this competition, but on the competition day, we felt like cheated !! Most of the teams are from outside, and they are Paintballers !! They came along with their own equipments such as clothes, masks, even their own markers (the airgun to shoot) !! But own marker was not allowed to use in competition. We are the newbie team, and of course we was bullied by the other teams. *sob sob*

Paintballing is not that easy as what I imagined before this. I can't aimed well the people I wanted to shoot and always get "killed" by opponent team. If the pallet ("bullet" in paintball game) splash on any part of the body, even on the marker, that person considered "dead". I was shooted by opponent team every games !! Not feeling proud of that. *sob sob* Sometime even get headshot-ed, "blak" on the mask. *sob sob again* Paid for been shooted, not really like that kind of feeling. Somemore it is pain when been shooted on body part, that why it is named "Pain-tball" for this post title. As a souvenir from my first time in pain-tballing, the marks on my body where been shooted are still obvious and not yet recover.

Although the feel of been bullied is not good, but I'm glad and had fun in the game, at least I had shooted someone "dead". A new try for me before I graduate and I also exposed to the rules and techniques of playing paintball. Anyway, paintball is an EXPENSIVE game. We paid RM350 per team and been provided 2000 pallets for our 4 games, yet it is still not enough !!

After calculation, I found that once we shooted a pallet, we had shooted 10 cent out from our wallet. 10 cent ??!! When you charged ("charge" is the term used in paintball game instead of "shoot") 10 times, you had shooted RM1, and average of 50 pallets was shooted in a fast game (I defined fast game as a game ended within 1 minute). If the game last longer, than you may calculate how many cents you had shooted in a game. If the pallets was used finish before the games ended, than you have to buy extra pallets at the cost of RM180 for another 2000 pallets. WOW~~!!

2009年4月2日，对理辅（理大升学辅导组）的每一位小，中及老瓜都有特别的意义，就是理辅之夜了。
一年前，在理辅之夜的身份为刚卸任的组委，是被慰劳及感激的一群；
今年，在理辅之夜的身份为老瓜，是被欢送的一群。
过了这一夜，我们这一群老瓜，是正式在理辅毕业了！！

Scanning Through Penang's Heritage

Every Malaysian, especially Penang-ites know that Georgetown, Penang has been recognized as Heritage City by UNESCO. I've been in Penang almost 3 years, and last few days ago, I managed to visit (actually is scan through as I just passed by and stayed at each place not more than 5 minutes) to some places in Georgetown area.

Without any map or direction, I just turned round and round the Georgetown area. I only knew some places where the buldings are obvious at the roadside, such as Fort Cornwallis and Memorial Clock Tower.

没想到，在最后一个学期的最后第二个礼拜，我收到了意想不到的纪念品--棒棒糖！！

这个棒棒糖是理夜（理华之夜）筹委送的（应该是呱，因为卡片留下的名字是理夜筹委）。有点感觉意外，因为除了还有跟小组的中瓜小瓜有点点的联系之外，我都没参理华活动一年了。谢谢你们！！但是他们应该不知道，因为我不认识任何一位理夜筹委，也要顺便投诉，写错我的名字了！！哈哈~~

Unsolve Mystery

There was a mysterious photo unsolve since yesterday until now. Let's see the photo first.

Let me introduce the persons in picture first, and to ease my narration, I will assign a number to each person in the picture.
From left : Ivan (No.1), KChiew (No.2), WLoon (No.3), WLam (No.4), KSiong (No.5), WSeng (No.6), CYan (No.7), KWei (No.8), KSoon (No.9), CPing (No.10).

This picture was taken on last Tuesday, when we went for steambot at Seoul Garden, Gurney Plaza. After steambot, we went to Gurney Drive seaside to have a walk before our movie started at 9.25pm. Take note on the part in photo tagged with red line square, between person No.2 and No.3, there is a shadow.

A shadow ? OoOoO, maybe someone moved or shaked his/her hand ? This is what I thought about before, but after asking from few people, the mystery is still remain unsolve.

There are 2 suspects who possibly responsible for the existence of shadow :
1. Person No.1
- He is sitting with his left hand behind the person No.2, but after asking, he forgot where was his hand position that time and it is suspected that his hand was on the place we sat to support his body which was left-skewed while taking the photo.
2. Person No.4
- He is standing behind the person No.3, with only left hand shown (in 'V'-shape). After asking, his right hand was holding person No.3 as the place he stand is quite narrow and not dare to simply move because just behind the place we took the photo is sea. His explaination is acceptable as person No.5, that is me also face the same situation.

The rest people are not suspicious, especially myself and the people at my left hand side (person No.6 until 10) ,and person No.2 & 3 shown both of their hands in the photo. Oh ya, the camera was put on the "bench" and used countdown timer to take this photo, no people touch the camera while taking this photo.

Err... any reasonable or logical explaination on this phenomena ? Technical problem ? Hopefully it is... I don't want to simply think, yerk~~~

The Pity AB

The "AB" I mentioned in the title, is the blood group type AB. Mine blood group is AB+, a selfish type of blood. Well, why I said that AB is pity ? There is a story, which I experienced it myself last 2 weeks ago, and triggered to post it into my blog by an e-mail.

Last 2 weeks ago, I went to Penang GMC, a private hospital next to Northam Tower for blood donation to somebody that I don't know. After registration, a normal procedure will be conducted by person incharge (lab assistant I guess), that is several tests on your body and blood to make sure that you can donate blood.

Just before the tests started, the person incharge asked me "What is your blood type ?".
I answered her "Mine blood type is AB+".
When she heard that mine blood type is AB, she stand up and said "Please wait a while, I want to check blood bank first".
She went off into a room, with another people, seems like the supervisor level people. They discussed something there and she came back to me and said "I'm sorry, we don't accept blood type AB, because the demand is low and the bank still have enough packets of blood type AB".
After that I just walked out from the lab and waiting my another friend donating his blood.

Poor AB blood type people, hospital also don't want your blood even you want to donate. I had received an e-mail today and it is originated from someone that asking for blood donation at GMC. There is a sentence mentioned that "Any blood type (O, A, B) is OK, but GMC does not accept AB type because AB type patient is very very few and it will be a waste if accepting AB type donor and this blood will be thrown away after 1 month if no use. For AB type donor, you may donate to GH".

So, for AB blood donors, your blood is most welcome by GH.
I wish I could help the people that need blood donation in GMC but its fate that I can't make it. For those who have intention to help people, please kindly donate your blood to any hospital, because I believe that there are many people face the situation like me, a rejected blood donor.

10-4-4 In Action @ 龙咁威

龙咁威？？郑中基演的龙咁威？？是的，没错，龙咁威最新一集，龙咁威之庆生篇来到大马槟城摄影！！10-4-4一家人被受邀请加入这集演出。哈哈！！
没有啦，这个《龙咁威》是一间香港茶餐室，英文名为“Dragon-Y”，坐落于Bayan Baru的Suntech，就在Bayan Baru Sunshine Square附近而已。越来越佩服我自己了，这样也被我找到！！哈哈哈哈哈哈~~~~当然也少不了我穷人用的“GPS”，Googlemap咯！！

就是这间啦！《龙咁威》
它的吉祥物很可爱吧？感觉好像是电子游戏里的主角，呵呵！！10-4-4整家人就在今天出发到这间餐厅吃晚餐，也顺便帮屋友庆生。这间茶餐室地方不是很大，有两层楼，多数的顾客都会选择坐楼上，因为楼上会比较阔。还好去之前已经预订位子了，要不然就没得坐楼上了，嘻嘻！！那里的食物，还蛮有新鲜感，味道也还不错，价钱是跟其他香港茶餐室差不多一样。

食物来咯！！只是介绍我吃的食物，因为懒惰一起介绍其他人的食物，呵呵！！其他人的食物照片可以在以下的slideshow里看到。本人吃的是套餐来的，再加上ala carte甜品。

先来一个开胃甜品（是在配套里的）名堂：《龙眼雪耳冰》
内涵：龙眼，白木耳，红枣
味道：还蛮不错，清凉可口
再来，主菜(main course)（配套的）名堂：《酱皇鸡粒拉面》
内涵：鸡肉碎，拉面，黄瓜丝，萝卜丝等等
味道：个人还满意，有肉有菜，一起吃的时候不会感觉腻
最后，甜品（自己另外点的）名堂：《杨枝柑玉露》
内涵：芒果，橙，火龙果的种子（黑黑色一粒一粒的），柚子（pamelo）等等
味道：真的不错，真的很“水果”，也很爽口
其实配套里也是有水的，可以选择蜂蜜参茶或者豆奶。所以，整体来说还真的不错，只是很可惜的地方是蛮小的。我们7个人吃，总共花了大约RM120。一向来都是我们10-4-4的传统，聚餐吃饱后，就是摄影环节，这里拍，那里拍，连那里的工人也站在旁边等着帮我们拍叻！！哈哈~~ 还好当时没什么顾客了。

Twice In A Day

Today is 28/2/2009, last day of February 2009. Today is also a day that I had done two things that I never do before. Let's check it out !!

First incident
Location : Tapak Convo USM
Well, to support friend's event at Tapak Konvo USM, so I had attended the event that held from early in morning until noon 1pm. The event is GREEN-based. What its mean ? Yea, it is an event of final year students from School of Communication with their project name Nemgrads and their event name "Kick Off Green Generation".

Ever you heard about pencils that made from recycled newspapers ? Or how about notebook made from sugarcane ? Pen made from corn ? Interesting right ? This is also my first time saw this kind of thing, its really GREEN !!

This are the pencils, made from recycled newspaper, except the lead.

Anyway, this is not the thing I want to mention about. What I want to mention about is this is my FIRST time of become artist's SUPER DUPER FANS !! Wahaha~~ Who is that "lucky" artist ? He is Malaysian Chinese artist, DANNY ONE !! Me and my friends are him "crazy"'s fans, just helping to raise up the environment's feel. OMG~~ haha !! Keep shouting at him, keep responding to him and so on. I think I have burnt out my mind !! *swt*
So, this is my first time, PRETENDED to be artist's SUPER fans, although not really know him .*swt* No pictures of him, because not interested to snap on him, d(=.*)b

Second incident
Location : Padang Palapes USM
After back from event at Tapak Konvo, I went to Career Fair at Dewan Utama Pelajar (DUP), but...(don't feel want to say what I felt from "shopping" at Career Fair). What attractive to me is the event outside DUP, that is on Padang Palapes. I not really know who are the organizers but I saw a tent, a big tent. I heard sound "Chik Chik Chik" from far, and also some crowd over there. So, to treat my curiosity, I went to see what is happening there. Before that, try to guess what is this thing ?

It is a paint ball's bullet and the tent is for paintball shooting !! The sound is from the airgun used to shoot. Although it is not a real paintball's game, but we can try to play paintball in the tent, by shooting the metal pails hanging in the tent for FREE. Of course I won't miss this chance, I queued there and shooted around 5 to 6 bullets as there are limited number of bullets for each person. Its a good try for me but I can't feel the excitement of playing paintball, maybe due to only can shoot 5 to 6 bullets, and somemore is shoot on the "unmovable" targets. But there is one thing that quite disgusting, that is everyone is using the same mask !! *uekk* Haha~~ !! Hopefully can play a real paintball game before graduate, haha !!

Haha, dialogue above is only for fun, doesn't mean the guy with camera is a real paparazzi. I took his photo while he is shooting at the angle towards me. Well, this photo is taken during my time series lecture. This guy capturing the scene in class during the lecture, I guess this maybe is a part of evaluation activity for the lecturer. So, I'm paying the "full" attention during the lecture to give co-operation although I don't know what happen actually.

New Innovation of Mouse Device - Finger Mouse

I've used computer for around 10 years (since primary school standard six until now), the mouse we used as pointing device had "evolved" a lot.
Since the time I started using computer, I'm using mechanical mouse with 3-buttons. Mechanical mouse is a mouse that have a 'ball' inside.

After a period, while I was in secondary school, optical mouse had substituted the mechanical mouse I used before. Optical mouse is a mouse that using 'laser' or 'optoelectronic sensor' will be more accurate and normally have 2 buttons with a scroll wheel. This is the type of mouse that I'm using until now.

Due to strong competition among manufactures, creative innovation is a must to survive in this field. From normal wired mouse to wireless mouse, from 2-buttons mouse to 1 button mouse, and some other mouse are the examples.

Well, these "mice" share a common ground, that is user need to use palm to hold the mouse (except those "mice" with smaller size). There is a new innovation mouse that impressed me very much, that is FINGER MOUSE !!

Special right ? User just need to wear it on finger and easy to bring out, especially for laptop users.
And guess what ? I had OWNED a finger mouse not long ago !! Wakakaka...
I didn't see any computer shops in Penang have this finger mouse so far (as i know). So, I bought this finger mouse online, with a reasonable price, and now I'm blogging with this mouse on my middle finger, hiak hiak hiak *evil laugh*.

Well, first time using this type of mouse, not really used to it. Need more time to familiar with this mouse. The dpi for this mouse is 1200 and it is USB supported. The length of the mouse is approximately 6cm (excluding wire).

寻找《糖朝》记

这个《糖朝》，不是卖粗糖细糖的店，也不是亚洲糖王--郭鹤年开的店，它只是一间卖糖水和一些小食的食馆。这间《糖朝》坐落于槟岛的Nagore Road，也就是在《淦烧烤火锅》的左边斜对面，New World Park的后面。
之前有朋友建议过去，某论坛也有人介绍，所以就决定去试试看。对槟岛不熟的我，当然需要做些功夫，真的再次谢谢google map。这次“寻找《糖朝》记”花了不少我的时间和摩多油，因为我只会到Penang Road转进Burma Road那里，再加上路上车多，我已经兜了三次才转进对的路，而且是还要停在马路旁问路人，嘻嘻！！所以说，出到外面，什么都不怕，只怕你不敢开口问。

找到这间店后，就进去坐咯。《糖朝》是一间在角头间店面，但是店面也不是很大，不知道楼上可不可以坐。肚子饿了，就翻翻它的menu看看，糖水选择还不错啦！还有一些小食。

上菜咯！！

（糖水篇）

这碗名堂是桂圆黑糯米，是一碗加上两粒龙眼和椰浆的黑糯米。感觉还好而已，若有的选择，我觉得Hamna那里卖的黑糯米好吃一点。

这碗叻，叫蛋花马蹄露。果然名副其实，真的有够“蛋”味。本人不是很能接受这个味道，嘻嘻！！看到那一丝丝白色的东西吗？是蛋白来的。

（小食篇）

这锅是《鱼翅鸡丝粥》。名字听起来还不错，但是“鱼翅”都没有看到几条，=.=|||。麻麻地而已。

这盘煮炒叫《珍珠炒》，是用laksa的面（细的）来炒的，里面还有虾，腊肠等等。这盘还好啦！

这三个东西是烧卖来的，名为《结心米》。味道一般而已咯。。。

这里的价钱，还勉强算合理啦！！这次吃的东西并不是很吸引我，可能没吃到“招牌”的东西呱，我也不知道《糖朝》的招牌是什么。若大家有兴趣可以去尝试咯。。。
照片拍不是很多，因为我刚要拍的时候，有位女人（猜测是老板娘）说不能拍照，但是我还是偷偷拍了些出来。

Japanese Cuisine - Matsuki Japanese Restaurant

14th of February, a date and day that meaningful for couples , because it is VALENTINE'S DAY, haha !! Happy Valentine's Day to all couples, for those who are not meet his MISS RIGHT or her MR RIGHT yet, hope you will meet him or her soon.

Well, why is it related to Matsuki Japanese Restaurant ? Because me and her went to this restaurant for our dinner. This is my first time went to this japanese restaurant which located at Cantonment Road, Penang (nearby Gurney Plaza). I knew this restaurant from my "research" on net, wakaka !! Because I'm not Penang-kia, so have to do more extra work, especially the route from Sg.Dua (where I'm staying now) to the restaurant and google map helps me a lot !! Thanks google map !!

Back to the story, this restaurant doesn't seems like a restaurant at my first sight. It is located same row with terrace houses, just it is more obvious at night because the light is on and bright. Luckily they have a roadside's signboard outside of the restaurant.

Once step inside the restaurant, you can see the place where sushi's sifu making sushi and you will be welcome by the waitress (I didn't saw any MALE waiter there, except the sifu). The environment inside is quite comfortable and nice, suitable dining place for a couple, haha !! Its give me a feel like having homemade japanese cuisine inside house, warmth~~. There is also a part of dining area which only open for group of guests more than 10 people. That dining area was decorated just like traditional japanese dining room, where the people sitting on the floor having their meal, with the short leg dining table.

Time to introduce the foods~~

This is the appetizer, a CHINESE cuisine !! Yes, it is really a chinese type appetizer, the mix of eggs, vegetables and glass noodle (we called "tang hun" in Hokkien). The appetizer is serve to every customers who come in for dining. The green tea was requested by me.

This is a set of meal, Tori Miso Pimanitame Tei. The big plate is the pan fried chicken with green pepper, anion and miso paste (according to the menu). The side foods are miso soup, steam egg and fruits. The taste is not bad, just the taste of miso paste is quite heavy, but it still acceptable for me. This set cost RM18, quite worth huh~~

Second set is the VALENTINE's set name Valentine Bento, promotion during Valentine's Day. Looks pretty right ? Notice the right down corner of bento, the rice and egg was served in shape of LOVE, haha !! There are some other dishes, e.g Black Pepper Chicken, Baby Octopus, Raw Fish etc. which cost RM28. This is more worth~~!!

This is the last set we ordered, Matsuki Sushi. This is a set of sushi-es, but i think the type of sushi are quite normal for this set. The fish egg and the "tofu" (middle) are not bad. This set cost me RM18 also.

These 3 sets was really make both of us full, really full.
In overall, I think this japanese restaurant is quite good. The foods or meals are varieties, the environment is comfortable and the service is good also (free promotion to them, haha !!). It's worth to have meals here.
If I'm not mistaken, there have set lunch also, and served with a scope of Haagen-Dazs ice-cream for free (I'm not sure is only for promotion or permanent).
Before I forget, there is no government charge here, but there are service charge (10%).

For those who are interested to go, the business hours are from 12pm - 2.30pm and continue from 6.00pm - 10.30pm daily (I guess, because the sign there didn't mention when is the off day). Don't know how to go ? Please use google map wisely, keke...

农历新年之旅（七）：槟州政府 - 旧关子角元宵节庆典

今天迈入了农历新年的最后一天 --初十五了，也就是元宵节。
昨天去看了槟州华人大会堂的庆元宵会；今天就去槟州政府举办的庆元宵会，地点是在旧关子角（Esplanade），离昨天去的椰脚街不远。

这个庆典时由州政府举办的，所以一定有槟州的当权人出席，包括了槟州元首和首席部长。槟州首席部长林冠英的车子是PG 1，那元首的车呢？我今天才知道，元首的车是没有号码的！！哈哈。。

今天的庆典，我也去迟了，大概8点才到。到了那里，先看到的是很多好大好高的旗子，有一班人在那里耍杂技，用身体的部分把大旗子扛起来。这项表演也是庆典中的其中一个项目，是以更靠技术的把大旗子扛起。很可惜的是，我去迟了，所以只可以在后面看，也拍不到照。

这次的庆典，由于是州政府的活动，当然也没忽略到其他种族的朋友。庆元宵庆典也有Baba Nyonya的表演，马来民族的Tarian Boria，印度舞等等。由于在远处，我只是透过播放机（Projector）放出来的荧幕看表演而已，懒得跟人家挤。就到处走走看，结果这辆巴士很令人枪眼，是Dondang Sayang表演者的巴士（我迟去，所以没看到这项表演）。

除了台上的节目，台的不远处也有设少许的柜台，买卖东西。这当然也少不了“卖”柑咯，也是义卖型的。若跟昨天在的槟州华人大会堂的庆元宵会比，在旧关子角抛柑比较像真真的抛柑。在这里抛柑是抛向海的（准确来说是抛向两个娃娃中间的篮里），而且“卖”柑的人不是一般的promoter，她们可是4位Miss Pesta Penang决赛候选人哦（Top 4 Miss Pesta Penang Finalists）！！

走着走着，也看到有华乐在表演，还有一些可爱的小牛牛装饰。

今晚庆典的最大卖点非柔佛麻坡关圣宫龙狮团莫属。但是在他们表演之前，他们还开了个柜台，卖他们的光碟（应该是比赛的录影吧？我忘记了）。除了这个大表演，还有一个表演就是前所未有的舞春牛！！真的好期待。。。

在期待着那两项表演的当时，我看到有一位叔叔在卖雪糕，就向前过去买。怎么知道，这也是我第一次亲眼看到真真的Aiskrim Potong。那位叔叔从“冰箱”里拿出一条长长的雪块，切成3块，而且动作还很快，切的雪块还是一样长的。每支雪块只卖RM1.00而已，好值得买哦！！这是真真homemade的雪块，不是像我们在市场看到的Aiskrim Potong这样，而且这位叔叔卖的雪块还比市场的大支，又好吃！！这次吃后，不知在那里可以再见到这位叔叔，吃homemade雪块。

不久后，舞春牛表演就开始了。我还是没办法及到前面看，只好在远处看荧幕。这两头春牛真的还是“福牛”叻，它们头上的有“福”字。个人觉得舞春牛的节奏会比较慢，然后动作没有像舞狮那么多样化，但是很有趣的是这两头春牛的尾巴可以动的叻。舞狮菜青，舞春牛呢？没错，就是吃草。这两只春牛真的有一幕是吃草的，主持人说是代表“大丰收”！！过后我听到有人说：“牛的动作本来是慢的，为什么舞春牛却动作那么快？”。我听了，就心想说：“若舞春牛的动作像真真的牛这样慢的话，那大家都打瞌睡啦！！还看什么舞春牛了？嘻嘻。。”。这里有几张春牛的照片，但是是从荧幕拍下来的，请多多包涵。

舞春牛后，就是庆典的最高潮啦！！是麻坡关圣宫龙狮团表演时间了。这麻坡关圣宫龙狮团还很威水的叻，他们得过了39次的世界舞狮锦标赛冠军！！哇，难怪这么多人冲着来看。这次他们的表演是在杆子上，所以可以看“现场”的，虽然辛苦了些，但是至少不必看“直播”的。不用多说，他们的表演真得很棒！！两只舞狮在杆子上跳来跳去，就好像在平地上跳，观众都为他们捏把冷汗。这两只舞狮还蛮“调皮”的，在大厅观众前玩“亲亲”，哈哈！！真的是很赞！！

人潮真的可以和昨天的庆典媲美，甚至更多人，因为旧关子角的范围比较广，比较大。

这两项表演结束后，我就回了，虽然过后还有其他节目，包括据我所知的放12分钟烟花表演。
十五天的新年就这样结束了，这也意味着二月已经来到二月中了，时间过得真快。真的希望有多一点的时间享受毕业前的日子。
初十五的月亮，真的好亮，好圆。月圆人团圆，在异乡的我，期待着下次团圆的时候。

农历新年之旅（六）：槟州华人大会堂 -《牛转乾坤元宵共庆会》

农历年初十四就庆元宵？有没有搞错？
对，绝对没错。槟州华人大会堂就在农历年初十四，与槟城子弟一起庆元宵。
为什么不是在初十五呢？若有留意新闻的话，就知道原因了。那时情况闹得蛮僵的，因为一向来都有拨款给槟州华人大会堂办庆元宵会的槟州政府，今年没有拨款（由于308大选后换民联执政槟州，可能行政方面有些改变），所以就闹了起来。最后都没事了，槟州华人大会堂和槟州政府会办各自的庆元宵会。
由于槟州政府也会办元宵会（在初十五），所以槟州华人大会堂就退一步，在初十四办了庆元宵会《牛转乾坤元宵共庆会》。

槟州华人大会堂的庆元宵会地点是在椰脚街（Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling），也就是槟州华人大会堂的地方所在。庆典若根据流程表其实是6点下午就开始了，但是我大概8点才到那里。我到的时候就有舞年表演了，他们还作了些高难度的动作，就是站在两粒球上走过独木桥（看看video吧！！）。过后还有舞狮出来“伴”舞，舞狮和舞年同台表演。这庆元宵会的主持人是988的支持人，但我不知道是谁，嘻嘻！！

舞狮舞年表演后，Baba Nyonya就出现了。他们呈现他们的传统舞蹈，可能没能吸引到我，所以我就离开了，到台的另一端去走走看看。台上还有一系列的活动进行着，有二十四节铃鼓，唱歌，跳舞，舞龙等等。但是我在台的另一端了，所以没有留意看看。

在台的另一端，意外发现了一条街，好像夜市集这样的，卖好多吃的东西。馋嘴的我，当然左瞄右瞄找食物啦！看到有一挡是卖炸面包的，就停下来买咯。本人还是第一次吃华人现炸的炸面包，价钱是还好啦，虽然有点少少贵。一个炸面包卖RM1.60，味道是还好啦，但是很油腻，所以不适合要减肥的人吃哦。

庆元宵，当然也少不了抛柑这活动咯。
槟州华人大会堂起了一个“拋柑池”让人家抛柑，而且柑是乐捐“买”来的。这项乐捐是捐给佛义洗肾中心。新年嘛，就行行好事，买了柑去抛咯。
这个“拋柑池”一共有四面。
第一面：姻缘 - 没选择抛这个，因为。。。。
第二面：事业 - 也没选择这个，因为现在还是学生，都还没有事业（虽然今年即将毕业，嘻嘻！！）。
第三面：健康 - 我选择了这个，因为健康才是人真正的财富，没有健康，怎么拼？？！！
第四面：财富 - 因为选择了健康，再加上觉得有了健康，就会有财富（可能性高吗？）。

抛完柑，就进去槟州华人大会堂里看看正在进行中的一些活动，那就是象棋，茶道，挥春，看字算命及算命。但是这一切都不够吸引我，因为我期待着一项我从来没看过的表演，就在槟州华人大会堂前的一个18尺高的擂台，也就是这个庆元宵会的压轴表演--《狮王争彩炮》。
这项表演有来自四个体育馆的四只舞狮参与，各代表了东，南，西和北。其实这个是一项比赛，看哪只舞狮以最快的速度爬上这18尺高的擂台。当然也没那么容易，舞狮需要在爬上擂台最高点的路程当中，需要揭开两面对联，一面在梯子中间，一面在还没到擂台最高点前。据某论坛的网友说，那两面对联是用锁头锁的，舞狮就有6支锁匙，但是只有2支可以开（不知道是真的嘛，因为看不清楚跳舞狮头的人有没有用锁匙解开锁头），所以真的不简单叻（看video咯！！）。
当时的情况把整场带到最高点，虽然整个过程只是一下子而已。（就为了可以近距离看这项表演，我已经站在那里一个小时多了，站到脚都麻了，好像等到有点不“待”。）

个人觉得这次的庆元宵会，虽然槟州华人大会堂少了一份槟州政府的拨款，但是都能做得还不错，还有创新的表演，真是不容易。槟州华人大会堂庆元宵会的筹委们，为自己鼓掌吧！！下一届做的更好！！

农历新年之旅（五）：极乐寺之约

今天是农历年初十二，大学已经开课一个星期了。
好快就要到元宵节了，就趁元宵节前到极乐寺走走看看。
极乐寺在每年的新年都会亮灯（今年是从21/1/2009到22/2/2009，总共33天），所以新年的时候是特别多人上来，不管是膜拜或者是参观。虽然亮灯后的极乐寺看起来很漂亮，也蛮壮观，但是本人觉得还是佛光山东禅寺比较美。
一来，东禅寺的主题，装饰每年不一样，给人新鲜感。极乐寺的装饰每年都大同小异；
二来，可能是地点的关系吧？东禅寺的地点在于比较平地的地方，所以会比较大，而且泊车比较方便（虽然每次去的时候都爆满）。极乐寺地点是在山上，所以要上去需要耗费力（不管是人力或者用交通），然后泊车也不是很方便（也要收钱，东禅寺泊车免费）。

极乐寺的卖点，当然是那尊远远还没到极乐寺前就看到的铜像观音（真的是很高）和万佛宝塔（个人觉得）。很遗憾的是，铜像观音的厅还没做好，所以今年新年还没得看见完完整整的铜像观音。

这次来到极乐寺，除了走走看看之外，也顺便来为自己，为家人，为朋友祈福，希望一切平平安安，顺顺利利。我许了愿，也把愿写在布条，然后挂上祈愿树。在这经济不好的时期，当然也要求财咯！！哈哈。。。拿了封“元宝”红包，希望可以旺一旺我。Huat ar~~ （福建话：发啊~~）

讨了封“元宝”红包后，就坐电梯式缆车去看铜像观音。
虽然经济不景气，但是卖香的商人看来影响不大喔。上来极乐寺的善男善女多数都会膜拜，然后膜拜一定少不了香。我看到一个插香的“盆”（不知道应该叫什么）都插满了香，那边的工作人员就把全部香都拿起来，好让其他的善男善女可以插香。相信没多久，那个“盆”也会插满香了。原来，卖香是很赚钱的叻！！

走完铜像观音那里后，就朝向万佛宝塔去了。我忘了万佛宝塔一共有几楼，就只知道楼梯那里很暗，再加上梯阶很小。就一直往上爬，爬到顶楼为止就看到不远处的夜景，还有极乐寺的风景。

为什么我会为这次的新年之旅名为“极乐寺之约”呢？
其实是有原因的，因为我在极乐寺遇到很多位理大的朋友，就在同个地点，同一天，同一个时间。可能这就是缘分吧？一个没约好的约会。。嘻嘻！！
他们就是其中一班啦！！是谁呢？认识的人慢慢猜吧。当时他们在万佛宝塔上，我就在塔下帮他们拍。

十一点的时候，极乐寺的灯就慢慢关了，人开始散了。临走前拍拍看没有亮灯的万佛宝塔，果然有亮灯的时候漂亮很多。

My Very First Time - Archery

Well, every people have their own first time, no matter in doing anything, so do I.
For my last semester in USM, I had registered for a ko-k course. Deng Deng Deng, it is ARCHERY !! For me, its so COOL~~!! Haha... Now I'm the rookie "Robin Hood"..

Archery is a totally new thing for me. Before this I only knew the bow and arrow, but there are some other accesories use for archery.
For example, armguard. It is use to protect the inner arm part (from wrist to elbow) from friction while releasing the arrow.

This one is finger tap. It is use to protect the 3 fingers used to pull the string.

There are few types of bows but for beginner, we only use wooden bow. I'm using the bow with 24 pounds, which is equivalent to 10.8862 kg. It is not the weight of the bow, but is the strength needed to stretch string from bow to a certain position (we was told to pull the string from bow until our lips). It is not easy for a beginner, and usually we are "playing guitar" -- hand shakes OBVIOUSLY while strecthing the string.

And this are the arrows. 4 arrows are given for each bow.

After few lessons of theory, its time for a real practical !! Wao~~ finally I can released the arrows from bow and the feeling was so good although didn't get good scores. For the first time which released 4 arrows, 2 arrows hit blue area, 1 arrow hit red area and another 1 flew out from the target board. For the second time which released 2 arrows, 1 arrow hit blue area and another 1 hit red area. Not too bad huh~~?? Keke..

Hopefully next time can aim better and shoot the YELLOW part, hehe....

2-2-2009 新年聚会

2-2-2009，正是农历年初八。就在这一晚，槟城也会很热闹，因为福建人会拜天公。
但是很可惜的，我没去参与，因为我正和一班以前在勤力（Tekun）宿舍的朋友一起聚会，一起劈啤酒。
直从搬到宿舍外，都没有很多机会可以和以前宿舍的朋友一起聚会。就在今年的今天，大家就来个新年聚会，也是大家在理大最后一年的新年聚会。

新年嘛，当然离不开新年饼干和扑克牌咯！！虽然手上有扑克牌，但是只是玩“措大弟”等等，并没有赌钱。。。呵呵！！有够乖吧？？但是我们玩的是改版“措大弟”，是八个人一起玩哦！！两幅牌一起派，输的就要被罚吃之前下的“赌注”--饼干，柑，肉干等等。。。

这是其中一盘啦！！

不知过了这次的聚会，几时才会有这样的聚会呢？
突然间想念当时在宿舍的日子，当大家都还是第一年生。。。

农历新年之旅（四）：布城

（吉隆坡之旅--完结篇）
布城是我这次新年在吉隆坡的最后一个走走的地点。
两年前曾经到布城区比赛划船，但是比赛的时候都是在白天。这次去，却是在晚上，让我看到了布城夜景。
布城的建筑物，环境都很漂亮，都是旅客到访的地点之一。
晚上的布城，虽然漂亮，但是变成了死气沉沉的一个地方。除了看起来很辉煌亮丽，马路上却看不到多少辆车。
如果当时我在马路上躺着，也应该没有车会铲过我。

在雪州就度过了一个星期的假期，就在初七中午返回槟城，继续原本应该属于我身为大学生的生活。

农历新年之旅（三）：吉隆坡塔

去完KLCC后，我们又到吉隆坡另一座高塔--吉隆坡塔（KL Tower）去咯！！
这是我第一次到吉隆坡塔，由于时间关系，就没有上到上面，再加上天气不好+价钱（RM38 !!），我们只是在外面和露天的主题公园Winter Park走走。。。
当一到KL Tower时，我看见的除了高塔之外，见到圣诞老人喔！！当时也感到奇怪，农历新年期间，吉隆坡塔竟然有圣诞老人？？原来是Winter Park的装饰之一，进入Winter Park也要RM5叻！！真是的。。。而且里头的装饰都是暴力龙制作的。。。=.=|||

就是这“位”圣诞老人了！！

农历新年之旅（二）：吉隆坡双峰塔

新年初五当天，我的家人就会登加楼去了，而我就下去吉隆坡“寄托”在朋友的家两天。
初五早上，早餐当然是肉骨茶咯。吧生肉骨茶那么出名，一年只回去一次，当然要吃个够。

这盘东西，福建话叫“wan dui”。华语应该是猪脚腕吧？我也不清楚。。。
吃饱后，就跟家人say bye bye，然后就搭火车到pudu车站去见志永和台湾交流生--甘如。
中间故事不讲多了，我们先到茨厂街去走走，然后到KLCC去。相隔一年多了，我再次回到这里。。。两颗好高的玉蜀黍。。。
新年新气象，在KLCC的当时竟然有舞狮。那还等什么呢，相机就一直“奇咔，奇咔”的响咯。

农历新年之旅（一）：东禅寺

2009年新年大年初二，我跟家人到了雪州仁嘉隆（Jenjarom）去找亲戚拜年，也顺便到了闻名的佛光山东禅寺去看看。
今年东禅寺的“招牌”是一只巨型的牛，看看照片就可以知道了。
其实几年前我也到过东禅寺，只是今年才刚有了数码相机，所以才可以把照片放上这里给大家看看。

看看照片，感觉还不错吧？
我在东禅寺也看到了一个另类的布条，上面写着“不丢垃圾，不抽烟，佛祖保佑您”。我看了也感到很奇怪为什么有这样的布条，难道是为了提醒烟民说佛祖没保佑他们？呵呵！！没有啦，相信是为了东禅寺的清洁，不要“那些”人随地丢垃圾及烟蒂，因为我亲眼看见有位和尚把地上的纸张拾起来丢进垃圾桶。

东禅寺每年的主题都不一样，今年是“生耕致富”。听起来应该是因为了配合牛年吧？嘻嘻。。。
虽然已经初八了，也一样要祝大家新年快乐，新年行好运！！
